This fourth season of the series focuses on diverse aspects of Ireland’s environment – particularly those threatened by pollution, diminishing resources and the demands of modern society.

The style of the programme is to identify the problems, pressures and impacts on the environment and explores practical solutions through individuals, communities, schools, businesses and State organisations, throughout the country, carrying out best-practice examples.

Each programme features three distinct strands. In this years series we explore topics on greenhouse gas emissions/climate change, energy efficiency and renewable resources, waste reduction and recycling, illegal dumping and enforcement thereof, air quality, water quality/conservation, transport, industry, our natural environment/biodiversity and environmental education.
