Item 1 (Big Picture strand) – “Forestry in Ireland; A future resource”
How much can forest cover in Ireland contribute to mitigation of Climate Change? We’ll measure this in tonnes of CO2 and show how more forest cover can contribute to more comfortable lifestyles for Irish people in the future.

Item 2 (Community lifestyle strand) – “Dublin’s Litter Problems and Solutions”
Dublin is one of the worst offenders of littering in Ireland. We’ll look at all the problems faced by Dublin, the cost of cleaning the streets each day, and the new enforcement laws that are coming into place.

Item 3 (Heritage protection and Natural Environment strand) – “Eco Tourist business”
Tourism has a big imprint on our environment. We’ll have a look at some best practice examples of touring Ireland and find some tourist business who are doing well by going green.
