Duncan Stewart

An award-winning architect and television producer, Duncan Stewart has been a leading Irish advocate for environmental, health and conservation issues for over 40 years.

A champion for environmental and architectural conservation since his student days, for the past two decades Duncan has also been a popular television personality in Ireland.

His early shows ‘Our House’ and ‘About the House’ leaned on his architectural background as he promoted the values of quality Irish craftsmanship, efficient and sustainable materials and the value of energy conservation.

Duncan’s current television programme ‘Eco Eye’, now in its fourteenth series, is driven by his interests in the protection of our environment, Ireland’s biodiversity, supporting local communities and the communication of climate issues.

 

Anja Murray

Anja Murray is an environmental policy analyst and ecologist. She has long been an environmental advocate and has been active in highlighting the importance of protecting our natural environment, wildlife and ecosystems. She has worked with An Taisce as a Natural Environment Officer on European and Irish environmental policy and as Land Use & Habitats Policy Officer at BirdWatch Ireland. She is a member of the Irish Environmental Network and the Irish Wildlife Trust.

Dr. Lara Dungan

Dr. Lara Dungan achieved her Phd in Immunology in 2011 and has won multiple awards for her work on experimental immunology and immune diseases including the prestigious ‘The Young Scientist of the Year’ award.

She has furthered her fascination with health and the human body and is currently studying to be a Medical doctor.

Lara has achieved further public recognition outside of academia for her work in science communication at Newstalk where she is also a regular contributor to the award winning radio series ‘Future Proof’ and a producer/presenter of her own series ‘Science is Everywhere’.

She regularly appears on national television and radio to comment, discuss or to explain scientific issues.
